UNK students bring video games to life during entertaining homecoming competition

Student organizations turned the “Press Play at UNK” theme into entertaining, choreographed dances during the lip-sync contest Thursday evening in the Health and Sports Center. Hosted by Loper Programming and Activities Council, the annual event is a highlight of homecoming week.

UNK graduate Austin Jacobsen served as emcee and Loper head football coach Ryan Held fired up the crowd. The UNK drum line, Sapphires dance team, cheerleaders and wrestlers also performed.

LPAC presented academic scholarships to Zoie Jacobsen and Carolyn Zamora. The Financial Aid Office won the homecoming display contest.

The competition was followed by the crowning of the homecoming king and queen.
