‘A season to remember’: UNK volleyball finishes ‘special year’ as national runner-up

The University of Nebraska at Kearney volleyball team will play for the first national championship in program history. The second-ranked Lopers (38-0) defeated 19th-ranked Rockhurst University (33-8) in four sets Friday to advance to the NCAA Division II title match. The University of Nebraska at Kearney volleyball team beat Gannon University (30-7) in four sets Thursday to advance to the Final Four of the NCAA Division II championship. Ranked second nationally, the undefeated Lopers (37-0) are in the Division II semifinals for the third time in program history.
