The University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Calvin T. Ryan Library celebrated its grand reopening Thursday following a $25 million renovation. The event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, open house and tours highlighting the library’s modernized design and functionality.

The renovation also includes upgrades in the Department of Communication, integrating spaces such as video, newspaper production and radio studios.

With its open layout, new furniture and upgraded lighting, flooring, ceilings, HVAC and IT systems, the renovated library serves as a central hub for learning, social engagement and research.
