UNK library to feature display of solar eclipse history

Former UNK employee John Stryker took this image on campus of the solar eclipse on June 8, 1918, the last time the eclipse cross the mainland United States. The image will be among historical pieces on display at the Calvin T. Ryan Library beginning Aug. 19.

KEARNEY – The Calvin T. Ryan Library at University of Nebraska at Kearney will have a number of items on display celebrating the upcoming Great American Solar Eclipse. Displays will include historical photos, news clips from past eclipse events and visualizations NASA produced for the current eclipse. Library hosting facility master planning discussions March 14-15

UNK students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in master planning for the future of the Calvin T. Student Government leaders seek input on UNK library needs
