The University of Nebraska at Kearney Forensics Team competed at the Midland Lutheran Peacemaker Tournament on November 9. The team placed sixth in team sweepstakes while competing against teams from throughout Nebraska and Kansas.
Senior Kirk Burtwistle of Stanton was the tournament champion in After Dinner Speaking, placed third in Extempouraneious Speaking, third in Impromptu Speaking, and fourth in Quadrathon (best of four events). Kylie Hauschild, of Kearney, was a semi-finalist in Prose.
