KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney will host its 24-hour giving day, One Day for UNK, from noon Thursday, Nov. 12, to noon Friday, Nov. 13.
The sixth annual giving day brings together Lopers near and far to support UNK. Funds raised will help support student scholarships, UNK’s three colleges, Loper Athletics, the library and other areas that foster student success.
Loper supporters can make a gift now at givingday.unk.edu.
“One Day for UNK reminds us of all that is possible when the Loper community comes together to create opportunities for students and experiences that shape their futures,” said UNK Chancellor Neal Schnoor. “We are deeply grateful for every gift, for the investment in our students and for the pride our supporters show in UNK.”
Every contribution of $5 or more counts toward this year’s goal of 2,200 gifts. Donors who make gifts totaling $75 or more will receive a limited-edition UNK umbrella by mail.
In 2025, One Day for UNK set records with 2,170 gifts totaling $389,737.
