Fan info for Saturday’s Husker volleyball spring match at the University of Nebraska at Kearney

The Nebraska volleyball team will play its annual spring match 2 p.m. Saturday at UNK’s Health and Sports Center.

Doors to the Health and Sports Center open at 12:30 p.m., and the Huskers will sign autographs following the match against Denver.

Tickets
Everyone, regardless of age, needs a ticket to enter Saturday’s volleyball match. Lap tickets for children 2 and younger can be purchased on game day at the Health and Sports Center for $5. The child must be present at the time of purchase and they’re expected to sit on a lap. No seat will be assigned. All other tickets for the event are sold out.

Bag/Purse Policy
Small clutch purses and wallets are allowed at entry. Clear, uncolored plastic tote bags are also permitted, or guests may use a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).

Prohibited Items
We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light, as you may be subject to search upon entry.

For safety reasons, prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Backpacks, bags, fanny packs, wallets with chains or large purses. (An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.)
  • Any type of weapon, fake weapon or object resembling a weapon. This includes firearms, knives, tasers, chains and any item deemed to compromise public safety.
  • Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances, vaporizing pens/E-cigs or any paraphernalia associated with drug use. The Health and Sports Center is a smoke-free facility.
  • Animals (except service animals).
  • Cameras with professional or detachable lenses are not allowed.
  • Outside food and beverage, including water bottles.
  • Laser pens/pointers of any type.
  • Signs and banners.
  • Noise-making devices of any kind – bells, whistles, air horns.
  • Hoverboards, Heelys, skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles.

If an item is revealed during a search, patrons may dispose of the item or they may return the item to their vehicle. The Health and Sports Center does not safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type.

Parking
Parking is available on the UNK campus at no cost. Handicapped parking is available in Lot 10 just east of the Health and Sports Center. Trolleys are also available at no cost. They’ll run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting at the parking lot just west of Kearney CrossFit, 2810 W. 24th St.
