University of Nebraska at Kearney second-year master’s student Kassidy Kirsch loves the broadness of the speech therapy field and the wide age range of the clients she works with.
“Every day can be different even if you’re seeing the same client by using different approaches, therapies, strategies and games,” she said.
The Rapid City, South Dakota, native earned her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders at UNK in 2021 and will graduate this May with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
