KEARNEY – The Health Sciences Department at the University of Nebraska at Kearney is hosting the first of four American Red Cross blood drives on campus Sept. 13-14.
The event is for UNK students, faculty and staff, as well as the public.
The blood drive is from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 13 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 14 at UNK’s Nebraskan Student Union Ponderosa Room A&B.
Since 2005, UNK-hosted blood drives have collected 5,512 units of blood, which have impacted more than 15,000 patients, said organizer Liz Stout.
