KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney Spirit Squad is taking registrations for its Jan. 30 Cheer and Dance Kids Clinic. The theme for this year’s event is “Frozen.”
The camp, hosted annually by the UNK Sapphires dance team and UNK Cheerleading, includes a cheer and dance clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. in Cushing Coliseum’s Hyper Gym.
Participants then perform during halftime of that evening’s 5:30 p.m. UNK vs. Fort Hays State women’s basketball game in the Health and Sports Center.
The camp is for children in kindergarten through fifth grade and costs . Participants receive a camp T-shirt, goody bag, snack and two additional tickets to the basketball game.
