KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney Spirit Squad is taking registrations for its Jan. 30 Cheer and Dance Kids Clinic. The theme for this year’s event is “Frozen.” The camp, hosted annually by the UNK Sapphires dance team and UNK Cheerleading, includes a cheer and dance clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. in Cushing Coliseum’s Hyper Gym. UNK honors Sophia Wymer, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Sophia Wymer of York, middle, along with her parents, Jon and Tiffani, are recognized at halftime of the University of Nebraska at Kearney men’s basketball game Thursday night.
