Solo and chamber music will be performed as part of the Spring String Concert at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at the Frank House, which is located on the University of Nebraska at Kearney West Campus.

The performance, which is free and open to the public, will be under the direction of Dr. Ting-Lan Chen, UNK associate professor of music and performing arts.

“For this string concert, we will present not only solo music but also chamber music,” Dr. Chen said. “To perform chamber music, the best place is a small chamber room with an intimate atmosphere, just like the Frank House. We are looking forward to communicating and interacting with the audience with our music.” The selections will be from the Baroque period to the 21th century, and will feature lyrical and virtuosic styles.
