The Concerts on the Platte Series will host Jason Edwards, University of Nebraska at Kearney music and performing arts lecturer, in an oboe recital on Monday, February 18.
The concert will be held in the Fine Arts Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m. Accompanying Edwards on the oboe will be Marilyn Musick and Nathan Buckner, UNK assistant professor of music and performing arts, will play the piano.
Music played will be the works of Antal Dorati and Peter Aston. The selections include Vivaldi: Concerto in a minor, and Saint-Saens: sonata for oboe and piano. Admission is free and open to the public.
