2000 COACHES CLINIC TO BEGIN TUESDAY, MAY 30 AT UNK

UNK- A clinic designed to provide K-12 coaches and teachers with the latest techniques and information for working with athletes begins Tues., May 30 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

UNK coaches and professors will present the three-day clinic. Guest instructors will include outstanding high school coaches from around the state of Nebraska.

Each of the daily sessions will be held in the Health and Sports Center. Cost for the clinic will be UNK tuition plus fees. Participants may register up until the first day of the clinic.

Clinic participants may earn one hour of either undergraduate or graduate credit. Three hours of graduate credit can also be earned by attending the clinic and completing an action plan by August 10.

The clinic is part of the Summer Synergy 2000 offerings at UNK. Summer Synergy includes short-term classes and workshops, as well as selected special events and enrichment activities.
