The University of Nebraska at Kearney Psychology Department will host the 23rd Annual Great Plains Students’ Psychology Convention on March 14 from 12-3 p.m. and March 15 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. During the two-day convention, over 400 students with 200 presentations from 40 institutions in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arkansas, and Wyoming will be presenting their research in psychology.
The Stephen F. Davis Keynote Address “Chimpanzee gestural language: Implications for Darwinian realities and Cartesian delusions” will be given by internationally renowned primatologists Roger and Deborah Fouts. The Friday evening banquet will feature Mitch Handelsman and Joe Palladino’s “Psych Follies.”
