The sixteenth annual UNK Faculty/Staff/Student Craft Show is set for Friday, Nov. 18, at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The event, which will take place from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the NSU Atrium, is free and open to the public. Handcrafted items created by UNK faculty, staff and students will be available.
No commercially produced or marketed products are accepted for inclusion in this event, according to Lonna Weiss, event organizer.
“If you make it, bake it, carve it, sew it, or create it, and you are a student, staff, or faculty of UNK, you are eligible to have a booth at this event,” Weiss said. The deadline for UNK personnel to reserve a table is noon on Thursday, Nov. 17. Reservations are to be made by calling 865.8528.
“Professional and office/service staff who have a booth will need to turn in vacation time for this day, since it is against university policy to sell personal items on university time,” Weiss said.
