UNK-Educators will have three opportunities in June to discover key Web sites for educators this summer at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Janet Stoeger-Wilke, UNK curriculum librarian, will provide educators with information on a core collection of Internet sites for educators. This course is designed for K-12 educators, as well as graduate and undergraduate students in education programs.
“It will give educators some guidance on sites that they would want to be familiar with,” Stoeger-Wilke said.
Sessions will be held at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on June 14 and at 10 a.m. on June 21 in the Jennings Room of the Calvin T. Ryan Library. Each session is free. Advance registration is required. To register, call (308) 865-8840. For more information, call Stoeger-Wilke at (308) 865-8546.
These sessions are part of the Summer Synergy 2000 offerings at UNK. Summer Synergy includes short-term classes and workshops, as well as selected special events and enrichment activities. For more information on Summer Synergy, visit the Web site at www.unk.edu/summersynergy/.
