The University of Nebraska at Kearney hosted its summer commencement Friday morning at the Health and Sports Center on campus.
Chancellor Neal Schnoor conferred degrees for 196 graduate and undergraduate students during the ceremony.
The keynote speaker was UNK alumna and criminal justice professor Theresa Wadkins, and the student speaker was Omar Sanchez of Lexington, who graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with emphases in accounting and finance.
