Students, employees and children at UNK showed their Halloween spirit this week.
Festivities included a pumpkin-carving contest hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences and Department of Art and Design. UNK community members were invited to participate Thursday afternoon and Friday morning by donating canned food items to receive a pumpkin. Art students also got in on the fun. Students, faculty and staff then voted for best of show, most creative and ugliest pumpkin on Friday afternoon.
On Friday morning, children from the Plambeck Early Childhood Education Center wore costumes and trick-or-treated at various buildings across campus.
