James Trambly, Help Desk associate for Information and Technology Services, is recognized by UNK Staff Senate with the Employee Achievement Award for October. Trambly has been employed at UNK since 2013.
The Employee Achievement Award recognizes staff for exemplary service and notable contributions to their department and UNK community, embracing an attitude of teamwork, commitment to excellence, contributing to high staff morale and other notable awards or recognition on and off campus.

“Since 2012 the ITS Help Desk has been responsible for the UNK student iPad check out program for students enrolled in iPad-required courses. Up until last December, the check out and check in process has included a lot of paperwork to be processed both by the staff and by our students. Jim streamlined the entire process this fall and made it all electronic, which has saved a great deal of time and effort.”
