Sig Eps bring Lemon Fresh Day to UNK campus for Thursday concert

Lemon-Fresh-Day-webKEARNEY – One of Nebraska’s most popular cover bands is performing an outdoor concert at the University of Nebraska at Kearney to raise funds for youth with AIDS.

Lemon Fresh Day will perform from 7 to 11 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 17) at the Sigma Phi Epsilon courtyard on the north side of University Residence North, 1601 University Dr.

Known for its strong vocal impersonations and harmonies, Lemon Fresh day performs a mix of numerous music styles, from top 40 pop, rock and country to R&B, metal, rap and classics.

The band is based in Omaha and has a large following in Kearney and across the state.

The concert is free and open to the public.

Sig Ep fraternity members will sell T-shirts for the day of the event and in the days leading up to the concert, with all proceeds going to YouthAIDS Foundation.

YouthAIDS partners with organizations and corporate entities across the world to develop HIV/AIDS training and awareness programs, along with opportunities for humanitarian service on a global scale.
