KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney is accepting entries for its 2014 Homecoming and Band Day Parade.
Hosted by Loper Programming and Activities Council and UNK Music Department, the Saturday parade is at 10 a.m. on Sept. 20 in downtown Kearney.
Kearney-area businesses, nonprofits and student organizations are encouraged to enter the parade.
“This is an excellent opportunity to give your business or organization exposure. A float, banner or classic automobile are great ways to reach thousands of spectators at the annual parade,” said Heather Wolf, assistant director for Greek affairs and student activities.
