KEARNEY – Jon Watts has been promoted to director of business services at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where he is responsible for organizing, directing and evaluating campus procurement activities and contracts.
Watts works in UNK’s Division of Business and Finance and provides fiscal, budget and business advice to all levels of administration. He is responsible for leading and managing all activities of Business Services, including the university mailroom and purchasing.
His new role also includes oversight of the auxiliary operations of UNK Dining Services, Antelope Bookstore and The College Store.
Watts worked the previous four years as assistant director of business services at UNK, where he was responsible for exclusive vendor management.
