As part of the Saturday at the Frank House series, members of the campus and the community will “Deck the Halls” of the Frank House for the holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 17.
According to Sally Hale of the Frank House, the decorating will begin at 1:30 p.m., and refreshments will be provided for participants. Anyone interested in assisting with decorating the Frank House on Saturday may do so. No advance registration is necessary
“I look forward to joining together with volunteers, and getting into the spirit of the season by working together and helping the Frank House get ready for the holidays,” Hale said. “We will put on holiday music, dress up the house and won’t stop until everything is complete!”
“Last year, Lou Maxson, KrisAnn Sullivan, Frank House student workers/volunteers, members of the UNK volleyball team and I were among those who decorated the house,” Hale said.
Regular walk-in-hours for tours of the Frank House are Monday through Friday, 2-5 p.m., and Saturday, noon-5 p.m. The Frank House is closed during UNK breaks and holidays. Donations are always accepted.
