The 17th annual Faculty/Staff/Student Craft Show is set for Friday, Nov. 16, at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

The event, which will take place from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Nebraskan Student Union Atrium, is free and open to the public. Handcrafted items created by UNK faculty, staff and students will be available.

According to Lonna Weiss, the event organizer, no commercially produced or marketed products are accepted for inclusion in this event.

“If you make it, bake it, carve it, sew it or create it, and you are a student staff or faculty of UNK you are eligible to have a booth,” Weiss said. “You will find everything from homemade jewelry, peanut brittle, quilts, beaded scarves and wall hangings at the craft show. Student organizations have also been known to make different types of food to sell.”
