SOPRANO CALLI SAMUELSON SET TO PERFORM FOR JUNIOR RECITAL, SUNDAY, APRIL 15

Soprano Calli Samuelson of Bertrand will perform her junior recital on Sunday, April 15, in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall.

The recital, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Samuelson will be performing “La rodinella amante” and “Un certo non so che” by Vivaldi; “Du bist die Ruh” by Schubert; “Liebst du um Schönheit” by Gustav Mahler; “Rain” and “Where go the Boats?” by Carlisle Floyd; “Sèrènite de la nuit” by Èmile Paladihe; and “Elle a fui, la tourterelle” by Jacques Offenbach.

She will be accompanied on by Dr. Marilyn Musick, UNK lecturer in music and performing arts.

Samuelson is a music education major with an emphasis in K-12 band and vocal. She is the president of Delta Omicron Delta, and daughter of Gene and Carol Bertrand.
