UNK TO HOST HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS FOR JUNIOR DAY ON MONDAY, APRIL 7; EVENTS BEGIN AT 10 A.M. AT THE HEALTH AND SPORTS CENTER ARENA

Nearly 300 high school juniors from 106 Nebraska communities, as well as from communities in Colorado, Kansas and South Dakota, will be at the University of Nebraska at Kearney on Monday, April 7, to participate in Junior Day.
“Junior Day is a great chance for high school juniors to start exploring and in many cases continue to explore the opportunities that UNK provides for students,” said Michael Pelster, assistant director of Undergraduate Recruitment. “This is done while interacting with UNK faculty, staff and current students.” Events begin at 10 a.m. in the Health and Sports Center arena.
During the day, students will be able to attend a panel discussion led by current UNK students, learn about campus life at an information fair, have lunch at Chartwells and take a guided tour of campus.
The event is co-hosted by the UNK Office of Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions, and Student Government.
