UNK- Drs. Ting-Lan Chen and Nathan Buckner will be the featured performers for the Concerts-on-the-Platte series on Monday, Feb. 4, at the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall.
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m., and is free and open to the public. The program will include “The Three Sonatas for Violin & Piano” by Johannes Brahms.
Dr. Chen has performed as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, and as a string pedagogue. She holds degrees in violin and chamber music from the University of Cincinnati College – Conservatory of Music. She has played throughout the United States, Asia and Europe.
Dr. Buckner has performed throughout the United States, as well as in Europe and Asia. He holds degrees from The Juilliard School of Music, Indiana University and the University of Maryland.
