STUDENT ADVISING AND ENROLLMENT SEES HIGH ATTENDANCE AT UNK

Students from across the Midwest are coming to the University of Nebraska at Kearney to attend Student Advising and Enrollment sessions this summer.

Incoming freshmen and their parents come to the UNK campus in June and July for one-day Student Advising and Enrollment (SAE) sessions where they get better acquainted with the campus, learn more about campus life, explore financial aid options and enroll in fall classes.

“This is the first chance for incoming freshmen to come to campus and learn about the various campus offices, activities they can get involved in and meet with academic advisers,” said LeeAnn Amm, UNK assistant director of Admissions.

At SAE, visitors also have the opportunity to meet and talk with current UNK students, as well as attend informational tours of the campus.
