The fourth annual College of Education Reception for Distinguished Alumni will be held on Friday, October 3 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Atrium of the College of Education Building. The event will recognize a few of our graduates who have received significant recognition this year. A short program will be held at 3:20 p.m. for the honorees. Brian Hagan, a 1991 UNK graduate, will be recognized for the UNK Hall of Fame. Paul Wagner, a 1958 UNK graduate, will receive the Distinguished Alumni Service Award. Kael Welch Sagheer, a 1996 UNK graduate from the masters program, will receive the Milken National Educator Award. Joan Bailey, a UNK faculty member from 1953 to 1997, will be recognized for the UNK Hall of Fame. The public is invited to pay to tribute to the honored guests.
