Best selling author Dave Pelzer will give a presentation entitled “Help Yourself” at the University of Nebraska at Kearney on Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. in the Nebraskan Student Union Great Room.
Dave Pelzer is the author of A Child Called It,The Lost Boy, and A Man Named Dave. His distinguished accomplishments have been recognized through many prestigious awards as well as personal commendations from Presidents Reagan, Bush, and Clinton.
“Pelzer will be a great draw as he was at UNK once before and attracted a crowd of nearly 1,000 people,” Tim Danube, associate director of the Nebraskan Student Union, said.
The presentation is $2 general admission and free with UNK student ID. It is sponsored by the Leadership Development Council and is intended for an audience of age 18 and above.
