MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY CELEBRATION

Beginning at the Memorial Carillon Bell Tower on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus, UNK students will celebrate the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. on Thursday, January 17 at 12:15 p.m. with a silent procession to the Nebraskan Student Union and a birthday celebration.

The UNK campus will not have classes on Monday, January 21 in honor of Martin Luther King Day. On Tuesday, January 22 the Office of Multicultural Affairs will show the film “Ghandi” at 6:30 p.m. in Copeland Hall Room 142 with discussion following the film.
