UNK PLANETARIUM TO PRESENT “THE CHRISTMAS STAR”

The University of Nebraska at KearneyÕs Planetarium will present “The Christmas Star” on Friday, December 7 and December 14 at 7 p.m. in the planetarium, is located in the basement of the Bruner Hall of Science.

“During the show we take a look at what could have been the Christmas star. Was it a comet, a meteor, or an exploding star? We will take a look at all these questions,” said Dr. Jose Mena-Werth, chair of the department of physics and director of the UNK planetarium.

The show is appropriate for all ages and a donation of a canned good is suggested and will be donated to the Jubilee Center.
