CONCERTS ON THE PLATTE – MICHAEL BLANEY AND YU-LING HUANG

The University of Nebraska at Kearney will host Michael Blaney on violin and Yu-ling Huang on piano as part of the Concert on the Platte Series. The concert will be held on Monday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Recital Hall.

The program will include Schubert: Sonata No. 4 in A Major, Brahms: Sonata No. 3 in D minor and William Grant Still: Suite for Violin & Piano.

Blaney is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory. He is a regular member of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Pianist Yu-ling Huang holds a doctorate in piano accompanying and chamber music from Florida State University, and has served on the faculty of Shenandoah Conservatory. Both Blaney and Huang are currently on the faculty of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

The concert is free and open to the public.
