GOLDFISH PRESENTS AT NATIONAL MEETING OF THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY

University of Nebraska at Kearney student Randall Goldfish of Ord was awarded honorable mention in the Young Scientist Award division at the National Meeting of the American Chemical Society in San Diego. This meeting showcases the research from across the globe by the 160,000+ members of the Society. His talk was entitled, “Fate and Transport of Antibiotics in Soil: Impacts of Land-applied Animal Manure Fertilizers.” Goldfish’s research advisors are Diane Aga and Julie Shaffer of the Biology Department.
