UNK hosts annual Central Nebraska History Day event for middle, high school students

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney hosted the annual Central Nebraska History Day on Wednesday with more than 170 middle and high school students competing. UNK Choirs touring four central Nebraska high schools

KEARNEY – University of Nebraska at Kearney Choirs will perform at four central Nebraska high schools and follow that tour with an on-campus concert. Kearney High School wins top parade honors at UNK Band Day

Kearney High School won the Sweepstakes Trophy and was named the top band overall at Saturday’s 2016 UNK Band Day Parade Competition. Twenty-four Nebraska bands marched in the University of Nebraska at Kearney parade. Directed by Nathan LeFeber and Rick Mitchell, Kearney High won Class AA and was also awarded the trophy for outstanding drum line.
