UNK closed Monday because of winter storm

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney will be closed Monday because of severe winter weather forecasted for central Nebraska. A winter storm warning has been issued for the Kearney area, where 5 to 10 inches of snow is expected Monday along with winds gusting to near 30 mph. KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney will close Tuesday and Wednesday due to severe winter weather forecasted for Kearney and central Nebraska. The University of Nebraska at Kearney campus will close Thursday, March 14, because of blizzard conditions forecast for Kearney and central Nebraska. In the best interest of safety, UNK facilities staff, law enforcement and administration made the decision Wednesday afternoon. UNK closing Saturday-Sunday due to blizzard forecast; NCAA wrestling still on

KEARNEY – The University of Nebraska at Kearney will close Saturday and Sunday due to severe winter weather forecasted for Kearney and central Nebraska. Campus will close at noon Saturday and reopen at regular hours Monday morning.
