Platte River Jazz will perform as part of the Concerts-On-The-Platte series on November 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the University of Nebraska at Kearney’s Fine Arts Recital Hall.
Those performing the various jazz styles and favorites include James Payne, UNK professor of music and performing arts, playing the trumpet; Bonnie Payne, UNK staff secretary, playing bass; and Ron Crocker, UNK chair and professor of music and performing arts, playing drums. Guest performers include Greg Tesdall on the saxophone, Wes Gird playing the guitar, and Dale Hopkins on the keyboard.
The Concerts-on-the-Platte series is sponsored by the UNK Department of Music and Performing Arts. Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.
