The fourth annual Johann’s Institute for Nebraska Politics at the University of Nebraska at Kearney will take place Thursday, November 14 in the Great Room at the Nebraskan Student Union. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the event will conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The Johanns Institute is a day-long colloquium on political and social issues that affect Nebraskans. Governor Johanns will convene the event, which will feature presentations from professors, public officials and community activists. The keynote speaker during the noon luncheon will be Frank LaMere, a social and political activist from the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
