Four! If your golf game is not up to par, maybe one Taste of Life seminar could be just the cure you’re looking for. The entire Taste of Life seminars will be held on Monday, March 18 at the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall from 8:45 a.m. – 12 noon. Learning Incentives for Enrichment (LIFE) is an educational, social and recreational program designed for lifelong learners ages 50 and beyond living in Kearney or Central Nebraska. The day starts out with an opening session and musical presentation. Following the opening session will be a choice of four seminars:

Seminar A: Improving Your Golf Game with Dick Beechner is geared toward beginners or experienced golfers. This session will get your game into full swing.

Seminar B: Putting a Little Humor Back into Your Life with Don Welch is a memory-writing exercise about the humorous things that have happened in your past.

Seminar C: Technology Toys with Don Ray and Brian Spradlin is simple, easy-to-understand help with all those new toys and gadgets such as palm pilots, digital cameras and more.

Seminar D: www.genealogy4u with Don Carpenter is using the web to explore genealogy.

The morning concludes with a general session entitled Life in Afghanistan with Kit Alff and Scott Matteson. The LIFE Seminars are sponsored by UNK, Good Samaritan Health Systems and the Kearney Community. The cost is $10 per person and payable with registration. Enrollment is limited, so participants are encouraged to register early. Parking will also be available, as UNK will be out for break. To register, or for more information contact Julie Saalfeld at the UNK Division of Continuing Education at (308) 865-8211.
