University of Nebraska at Kearney employees are now able to make donations and participate in three fund drives that benefit the community. Employees will make pledges using online forms specific to UNK. The three entities the university partners with for donations and payroll deductions are:
- United Way of the Kearney Area
- Community Services Fund of Nebraska
- Community Health Charities of Nebraska
UNK asks that by Nov. 23 employees decide about giving that fits their budget and provides them satisfaction that comes with charitable giving.
To make a pledge or donation, click the links above to go directly to the organizations’ contribution websites.
Employees may give to any or all of the organizations through a one-time gift or payroll deduction, which UNK is required by law to handle for these federations.
Those who choose payroll deduction will be asked to provide their personnel number along with name on the online form. The federations will forward information received on their websites to UNK Human Resources for processing beginning Jan. 1, 2022.
Those not comfortable making donations online can request a paper form or other information directly from the coalition/organization.
Below are some thumbnail sketches of what each federation does. Employees may also designate individual charities within each federation.
