The Kearney Area Symphony Orchestra (KASO), under the direction of Dr. Ron Crocker, will present An American Portrait at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Fine Arts Recital Hall.
Featured selections will include: Variations on a Shaker Melody by Copland,Buckaroo Holiday from the ballet Rodeo by Copeland, An American Salute by Gould, You’re a Grand Old Flag by Cohen, I Dream of Jeanie With the Light Brown Hair by Foster and Three Sousa Marches.
General admission tickets are $6; senior citizens, $5; and students, university through elementary school, free.
