Lisa Good, director of the Nebraska Women Work organization, will present the results of the 2008 Nebraska Women Work survey, including information on salary, working conditions, harassment on the job, etc.
Women Work is an organization that lobbies for women’s issues and concerns at the national and state level. The Nebraska organization conducts a survey of working women in the state every 3 years. One thousand working women in Nebraska responded to the survey, and the results are very interesting and highlight some of the poor conditions for working women in the state.
