What is the Brooklyn College Academy World Ensemble?
The Brooklyn College Academy World Ensemble is a musical group of high school students from the Brooklyn College Academy in New York City who perform on non-traditional musical instruments collected from various cultures. The ensemble is a unique performance group whose performance enriches their audiences. Their performances create an understanding of and appreciation for the diverse cultures whose musical traditions they explore.
