Free Loper Athletics admission returns for UNK faculty, staff and families

University of Nebraska at Kearney Athletics is once again offering complimentary admission to regular-season home athletic events for UNK faculty and staff and their immediate family members.

Now in its third year, the program provides general admission for employees and their immediate families, including a spouse or partner and children, as part of UNK’s ongoing effort to strengthen campus engagement and Loper pride.

New this year, UNK is using the ETix ticketing system, eliminating the need for employee season passes. Faculty, staff and students will use their campus ID as their ticket, scanning it for admission at home athletic events.

Employees’ campus IDs will provide general admission for the employee and immediate family members attending with them.

“Providing complimentary season passes to our faculty and staff for the third consecutive year is about more than attending games – it’s about bringing our campus community together,” UNK Director of Athletics Marc Bauer said. “When we cheer together, we build strong connections, greater school spirit and a deeper sense of Loper pride.”

Faculty and staff who prefer reserved seating for Loper football games will have the option to purchase upgraded reserved tickets through UNK Athletics.

Complimentary admission applies to regular-season home athletic events and does not include postseason competition.
