Three UNK students receive American Advertising Federation Nebraska Scholarship Awards

OMAHA – Three University of Nebraska at Kearney students were selected as recipients of the 2026-27 American Advertising Federation Nebraska Scholarship Awards.

Worth $2,000 each, the scholarships recognize outstanding students pursuing careers in advertising, marketing, communications, public relations and related creative fields.

This year’s recipients are Gracie Boe of Kearney, Laura Carnahan of La Vista and Brianna Jorgenson of Orleans.

The AAF Nebraska Scholarship Program supports students who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential and a passion for the advertising and communications industry.

“These scholarship recipients represent the future of our industry,” said Cody Felber, president of AAF Nebraska. “Their academic dedication, leadership and passion for creative communications are exactly what our profession needs. We are proud to invest in these students as they continue to shape the future of advertising in Nebraska and beyond.”

Scholarship recipients have the opportunity to serve as student ambassadors during the ON Brand 2026 Conference on July 16 in Omaha, further connecting them with professionals and experiences that can shape their future careers. They will be honored at AAF Nebraska’s annual meeting in August.
