When Kara Haffke was deciding where to spend the next four years, there were two passions that drove her decision – twirling and running. After talking to several schools, she found a home where she could do both, the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The freshman balances school, band practice, and track workouts and exemplifies what it means to find your herd. You can find Kara performing during football games this fall and competing on the track this winter and spring.
