The UNK community celebrated a new and improved Loper Pantry location Wednesday afternoon during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Nebraskan Student Union.

Now easily accessed using an entrance on the north side of the student union, the Loper Pantry provides free groceries for students facing food insecurity. Students can use their UNK IDs to access the pantry from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturdays; and 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays.

UNK relies on food and monetary donations to support the pantry. It’s stocked by UNK Dining Services and managed by the Office of Intercultural Engagement and Leadership.
