High school students from across the state participated in an Astronomy, Physics and Engineering Camp this week at UNK.
Hosted by the Department of Astronomy, Physics and Engineering, the three-day camp allowed attendees to get involved in hands-on engineering challenges and gave them a close-up look at the principles of physics that form the underpinnings of the universe. Activities included building and launching water rockets and creating pinhole cameras used to view the sun.
