For the second straight day, the UNK volleyball team battled back from a two-set deficit. This time, though, the comeback effort came up just short.
The 12th-ranked Lopers fell in five sets Friday evening to No. 15 Concordia-St. Paul, ending their season in the second round of the NCAA Division II tournament.
UNK finishes with a 26-7 record. Concordia-St. Paul (24-8) advances to face either top-ranked Central Missouri or sixth-ranked Washburn in the Central Regional final, scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday.
